Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is right on St Charles St with a trolley stop outside, offering a balcony view. The price paid was excellent value despite some issues. The service was helpful and friendly, except for a small hiccup. The location was perfect for all our activities, escaping the busy areas. The dining options were convenient, with in-house choices available. Overall, a great stay with a few minor drawbacks.
The hotel rooms were very big and comfortable, charming, well-appointed, and very clean. It was only a few dollars more than a regular room. The staff were helpful and friendly, making the stay pleasant. However, the dining options were limited, which could be improved for a better experience.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms finally cooled down to the mid-upper 60s by the evening and were very comfortable. It was the most affordable option in the area and exceeded our expectations with its spacious and extremely nice accommodations. However, the bathrooms really need updating.
The hotel is ideally located for exploring different districts and is a convenient walk to grocery stores. The rooms, though a bit dark and affected by street noise, offer a quiet atmosphere. The passing traffic can create some noise and vibrations. The service went above and beyond with a friendly and helpful staff. The hotel's position directly on the St Charles St trolley car line provides a scenic ride into town while offering a peaceful setting away from the French Quarter. The dining options, mainly from nearby restaurants, contribute to a pleasant stay.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel overall. While the rooms could have used a little maintenance with some paint touch-ups and there was occasional street noise from St Charles St, the location was remarkable and the service was friendly and helpful. The dining options were limited, but the facilities were satisfactory.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were charming, well-appointed, very clean, and I loved the layout on the top floor with a nice view. However, they were extremely noisy and shook when passing traffic went by. The location was great for walking to various attractions, directly on the St Charles St trolley car line. Dining options were varied with surrounding restaurants within walking distance. Overall, a decent stay with some drawbacks.
I had a great stay at the hotel! It's within walking distance to many fantastic restaurants and the streetcar, making it super convenient. While the French Quarter was a bit dated, my room was clean and comfortable. The size was a bit small considering the price and location, though. I was situated between the elevators, which was a little noisy at times.
